Baker Triangle, one of the nation's largest drywall contractors, recently switched to using Trim-Tex products exclusively on all of their projects. Finishing superintendent, Francisco Arandas, explains why they decided to make the switch.
After several years of product demos with Trim-Tex representative Don Dathe, Baker Triangle decided to go all in and switch to Trim-Tex products exclusively. Arandas says it took almost a full year to make the transition, but the savings in time and money were worth it. 
"Trim-Tex is durable, easy to fix, uses less material, and doesn't cut or scratch easily," Arandas says. "We can fill coat within the same hour or two, which means we save time and money on labor and installation."
Baker Triangle now uses Trim-Tex products on every one of the 40-50 projects they complete each year. The jobs vary widely in scope and size, from 1-2 floors buildings to over 20 floor commercial towers.
"The products we use the most are L Bead and Mud Set Rigid," Arandas says.
Arandas, who has worked in the drywall and plaster industry for 25 years, has been with Baker Triangle for 13 years and manages 65-70 workers. The company employs over 1300 people across Texas and prides itself on leveraging technology to stay ahead of the industry.
